Christmas Dessert Recipes for Candies

These candies which are no bake dessert recipes, are bound to be a hit with kids and teens especially with the amaretto liqueur giving the candies the extra flavour. Christmas colours is the order of the day, so have your desserts decked with coloured decorations of greens, reds and golds. 2 Egg Whites 230 g Almond Paste 2 tbsp Amaretto Liqueur 2 tsp Almond Essence 1 tsp Vanilla Essence 3 1/2 cups Icing Sugar 1 cup Cornstarch 500 g Sweet Dark Chocolate Method Cut the almond paste into small pieces and add egg whites. Stir a bit before adding amaretto and almond and vanilla essences. Mix well with a metal spoon. Add icing sugar and cornflour gradually, mixing at the same time until mixture has toughened. Chill overnight so that you can roll the mixture into balls. Melt chocolates in microwave or over double boiler. Dip each ball in melted chocolate.
