Apple Cheesecake Recipe



You have apple pie, apple biscuit and now this great Apple Cheesecake recipe, a baked cheesecake recipe that combines apples with cheese and flavoured with fragrant cinnamon. This cheesecake recipe is a must-try from the apple dessert recipes that are included in our site here.


Ingredients
1 cup 		        		Graham Cracker Crumbs
3 tbsp 		        		Fine Sugar
1/2 tsp 	        			Ground Cinnamon
1/4 cup 	        			Butter; melted
450 g			                	Cream Cheese; softened
1/3 cup 	        			Honey
1/2 tsp 	        			Vanilla Essence
2 		                        	Large Eggs
4 cups 		        		Peeled Apples; sliced thinly
1/2 tsp 	            			Ground Cinnamon
1/3 cup 	        			Brown Sugar
1/4 cup 	          			Almond Flakes

Method

Mix well together cracker crumbs, 3 tablespoons of fine sugar, cinnamon and butter. Press onto bottom of 9-inch springform pan. Bake at 180°C for 10 minutes. Chill in fridge.

Beat cream cheese together with honey at medium speed until well blended. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well with each addition. Add in vanilla essence. Pour cream cheese mixture over chilled crust.

Mix apples with brown sugar and cinnamon. Spoon the apple mixture over cream cheese layer and sprinkle with almond flakes. Bake at 180°C for 1 hour or until cheesecake turns golden brown.

Allow to cool before removing from pan. Chill at least 3 hours before serving.
