Best Authentic Asian Desserts Recipes

The mention of Asian Desserts brings to mind all the various delectable best dessert recipes from Asian countries such as Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, India, Taiwan and others. In general, most desserts from South East Asia cannot do without coconut milk. This fragrant milk does makes a whole world of difference to the flavour of the desserts. And of course, coconuts are aplenty in this part of the world!

Take for instance, the well-known Thai desserts recipes for Taku Siam (which is also known as Tako Siam) and the Thab Thim Krob which are cold desserts that basically use coconut milk and water chestnuts. So does many other desserts as you will very soon find out as you explore the recipe pages. However, there are also recipes which do not use the coconut milk and this page is most definitely not a review of this flavourful extract.

Also, you will also enjoy our collection of Chinese desserts which is not a part of this page and we do hope to add more dessert recipes from other Asian countries and cultures as well including Japanese desserts, Korean desserts, Middle Eastern desserts and more.
