2 tbsp Organic Brown Sugar
1 cup Organic Carrot Juice; freshly juiced
3 tbsp Virgin Coconut Oil
2 tbsp Organic Whole Raisins

Stir in sugar into warm water. Sprinkle with yeast. Do not stir. Allow yeast to prove for 15 minutes until it turns frothy.
Meanwhile, mix sifted rye flour together with milk powder.
Add in carrot juice, brown sugar and coconut oil.
Mix until mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Create a well in the centre and pour in yeast mixture.
Mix the dough and keep kneading until dough is smooth. Add oats followed by raisins and continue to knead for a while until dough no longer sticks to your hand.

Now roll into cylinder and shape into twists.
Place bread twists on paper cut-outs.
Cover and allow bread twists to rise and double in size. This will take about 30 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare water to steam. Once water is boiling, place bread twists in the wok and steam covered for 15 minutes at high heat.
Best when served hot. _________________________
