Cherry Cheesecake Recipe
Bake special cherry desserts with this Cherry Cheesecake Recipe - a quick and simple cheesecake recipe for cream cheese desserts generously topped with sweet red cherries filling.
Ingredients1 cup Graham Cracker Crumbs
3 tbsp Butter; melted
3 tbsp Fine Sugar
700 g Cream Cheese; softened at room temperature
1/2 cup Fine Sugar
3 Large Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla Essence
600 g Cherry Pie Filling
Method
Mix together crumbs, butter and 3 tablespoons of sugar. Press mixture firmly onto base of 9-inch springform pan. Bake at 170°C for 10 to 15 minutes. Beat together cream cheese and sugar at medium speed until smooth and creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well with each addition. Add in vanilla essence. Pour cheese mixture over prepared crust. Bake at 220°C for 10 minutes first before lowering heat to 130°C to continue baking for another 30 minutes or until cake turns golden and has set. Allow cake to cool before removing. Chill for at least 5 hours. Top with cold cherry pie filling just before serving.
