Find delicious easy to prepare Chinese New Year recipes here that you must try for Chinese New Year celebration. Some of these Chinese recipes originated from both my mother and mother in law while some are from my friends and relatives. We have tweaked the recipes to perfection, we hope, as we cook the dishes for our meals.

The Chinese New Year reunion dinner is very significant to the Chinese. It is the time when families gather together for a lavishly prepared meal. Some of the best chinese food including chicken, fish and pork dishes as well as stir fry vegetables and heart-warming soups adorn the dinner table.

I remember one such occasion when we had chicken, duck, pork and fish dishes! It was that grand! The local television would be filled with various Chinese New Year programs. We would leave the box on, and chat merrily while feasting away with some wholesome Chinese cooking. It is, indeed, a very joyous and jubilant occasion when family members catch up with one another.

I hope to prepare many varieties of Chinese food here - Chinese stir fry recipes, Chinese chicken recipes, Chinese soup recipes and many more Chinese New Year recipes. We'll even have some fusion recipes here, mostly my own creations. There are recipes suitable for young families or those who are unable to go home for New Year due to work commitments and wish to have simple reunion dinner with friends.
