Chocolate Banana Cheesecake Recipe

Try this favourite Chocolate Banana Cheesecake recipe - a banana cheesecake recipe that includes walnuts and chocolate toppings as well, so you can quite imagine how wonderful this cheesecake will taste like. Absolutely fantastic cream cheese desserts or banana desserts that you can dish up for a small party or just to delight your loved ones!


Ingredients
1 cup 		        	Chocolate Biscuit Crumbs
1/4 cup 	        		Butter; melted
16 oz 		        	Cream Cheese; softened at room temperature
1/3 cup 	         		Fine Sugar
1/2 cup 	         		Bananas; ripe and mashed
2 		                 	Large Eggs
1/2 tsp		        	Banana Essence	
1/3 cup 	          		Chopped Walnuts
1/2 cup 	        		Cooking Chocolate
1 tbsp		        	Butter
2 tbsp		        	Evaporated Milk

Method

Mix together biscuit crumbs with melted butter. Press firmly onto base of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake at 180°C for 10 minutes.

Beat cream cheese together with sugar until smooth. Add mashed banana and blend at medium speed until well blended. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well with each addition. Stir in banana essence. Stir in walnuts. Pour cream cheese mixture onto ready crust. Bake at 180°C for 35 to 40 minutes or until cake turns golden.

Allow cake to cool before removing from baking pan.

To prepare chocolate topping, melt cooking chocolate together with melted butter and milk over low heat. Keep stirring until smooth.

Drizzle over cheesecake. Chill in fridge for at least 5 hours.
