Death By Chocolate Dessert Recipe
Death by chocolate dessert recipes are basically dessert recipes that feature chocolate as the main ingredient. Death By Chocolate Dessert Recipe - Cake Ingredients 4 Eggs
1/2 cup Water; at room temperature
1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
220 g Sour Cream
1 pack Chocolate Cake Mix
1/2 tsp Instant Coffee Powder
1 sachet Instant Chocolate Pudding Powder
400 g Chocolate Chips
Method
Beat eggs until light and fluffy. Add water and stir well. Then add in oil gradually. Lastly add in sour cream. Fold in cake mix, coffee powder and pudding powder and beat until well-blended. Add chocolate chips and stir in gently. Do not overstir. Pour batter into greased baking pan. Bake in preheated oven at 180°C for about 50 minutes to an hour. _________________________
Death By Chocolate Almond Brownies Ingredients Ingredients
250 g Butter; room temperature
300 g Cooking Chocolate
120 g Castor Sugar
4 Medium Eggs; beaten
170 g Self-raising Flour
50 g Ground Rice
1 tsp Vanilla Essence
80 g Icing Sugar; sifted
2 tsp Coffee Essence
1 cup Toasted Sliced Almonds
Method
Melt half of the cooking chocolate in a bowl over a saucepan of water. Stir well. Cream 200 g butter with castor sugar before gradually adding eggs. Gently fold in flour, ground rice, vanilla essence and melted chocolate. Pour into greased cake pan. Bake at 180°C for 50 minutes. Allow to cool. Now melt the remaining half of the cooking chocolate. Once melted, spread evenly on top and side of the cake. For decorations, cream remaining butter with icing sugar and coffee essence and pipe star shapes at the edge of the cake. Sprinkle with almonds. Cut into desired size. _________________________
