Easy Almond Cookies



Easy Almond Cookies featured as one of the great dessert recipes are simple dessert recipes that requires basically just flour, egg, milk and butter. Throw in ground almonds and vanilla essence and you have here great tasting crunchy cookies.

These baking recipes for drop cookies are easy to follow and very quick to make but always remember not to overmix the dough.


Ingredients

200 g			        	Butter 
2 			        	Eggs; lightly beaten
3 tbsp				Evaporated Full Cream Milk 
1 cup			        	Ground Almonds
1 tsp			        	Vanilla Essence
1 1/3 cups		        	Castor Sugar 
2 cups				Self Raising Flour; sifted

Method

Cut butter into smaller pieces for easy melting. Add in beaten eggs, full cream milk and ground almonds. Mix well before adding in essence and sugar. Fold in sifted self-raising flour.

Spoon mixture onto lightly-greased cookie sheet. Press once lightly with fork. Bake in preheated oven at 200ºC for 10 to 15 minutes or until cookies turn golden brown.
