How to Make Chocolate
From Cocoa Beans or Cocoa Powder
Ever wondered how to make chocolate? Especially in the comfort of your kitchen. With chocolate so readily available in the stores you may not want to go through the hassle of making your own chocolate.
However, homemade chocolates are different - they give you the power to choose what you want how you want it.
You can adjust the sugar and the milk. You can even add your favourite fruits and nuts, yes, loads of them. Add your favourite flavour or essence. Make them as sexy as you want them to be :)
Aren't those thoughts just tempting?
Chocolates make great gifts and are usually packed in pretty wrappers or included as part of gift baskets. For lovebirds, chocolate desserts are favourite Valentine desserts. And that is when chocolates get expensive.
A friend gave me chocolates during Christmas. Each piece was moulded into a stalk of lily. I thought she had bought it from somewhere because it was really very unique and pretty. I was both surprised and impressed when she told me that she had made them herself! Needless to say I was touched as I felt it was a great gesture of hers to give homemade chocolates as gifts. Though I did not ask for the recipe, I researched all I could for the ideal chocolate making recipe.
So, after lots of trial and error I have finally come up with two recipes on how to make chocolate - one that uses cocoa beans and another that uses cocoa powder. Give either one or both a try and who knows, you may even go as far as selling your own chocolates during festive seasons.
