Diabetic Dessert Recipes - Jello Cranberry
Cranberry is moderately rich in vitamin C and a good source of dietary fiber. Jello-CranberryIngredients 4 cups Fresh Cranberries
1 1/2 cups Water
15 sachets Sugar Substitute
1 tsp Vanilla Essence
1 packet Gelatine Powder; unflavoured
1/4 cup Cold Water
Method
Boil cranberries with 1 1/2 cups of water. Add vanilla essence and sugar substitute. Lower heat and simmer for about 10 to 15 minutes until all cranberries become soft and mashed. Using a spoon, sprinkle gelatine powder over 1/4 cup of cold water. Stir and add into hot cranberry mixture. Stir well. Pour into desired moulds. Chill until firm and set.
