Christmas Dessert Recipes for Candies
Marshmallow Hazel Bars
Marshmallow Hazel Bars are one of the delightful Christmas dessert ideas for candies. These easy Christmas desserts are laden with chopped hazelnuts other than chocolate chips, marshmallows and coconut flakes. These candies are no bake dessert recipes which are quick to prepare and after the preparations are done, chill the candies well before cutting them into desired shapes.
Ingredients1 cup Toasted Hazelnuts; chopped
1 1/2 cups Chunky Peanut Butter
1 cup Melted Butter
450 g White Chocolate Chips
5 cups Marshmallows
2 cups Dessicated Coconut
Method
Over low heat, melt butter, peanut butter and chips together, stirring often. Allow to cool awhile before adding marshmallows and hazelnuts. Mix well and add in 1 cup of dessicated coconut. Mix just well. Spoon mixture onto a greased square pan. Press down firmly. Now sprinkle over with remaining dessicated coconut. Press the top again but just lightly. Chill in refrigerator until firm and set. Cut into bars. For best storage, keep in air-tight containers.
