Milo Cheesecakes
Delectable mini Milo Cheesecakes from our collection of cream cheese desserts that will please all Milo lovers to no end. This recipe should be one of the best desserts for those who love the popular beverage. Believe it or not, I sometimes even helped myself to a scoop of Milo powder when the Milo craving kicked in.
If you are bored of the usual plain cheesecake recipes, do try these mini cheesecakes which use the world favourite beverage, Milo. These layered desserts are filled into cupcake moulds, so you would need to have the cupcake papers ready.
Ingredients For Crust 1 1/2 cups Graham Cracker Crumbs
2 tbsp Fine Sugar
1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1/2 cup Melted Butter
Ingredients For Filling
700 g Cream Cheese; at room temperature
1 cup Brown Sugar
4 Medium Eggs
1/3 cup Sour Cream
1 cup Milo Powder
Ingredients For Decorations
1 cup Cocoa Powder; unsweetened
1/2 cup Milo Powder Method
Mix together crust ingredients and press firmly onto base of cupcake moulds. Chill for later use. Beat softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Add in brown sugar and beat until well blended. Beat in eggs, one at a time, beating well with each addition. Add in sour cream. Blend well. Scoop 1/4 full of the cheese batter into prepared crust of each cupcake mould. Bake until the top is almost golden. Sprinkle Milo powder evenly onto baked layer. Scoop cheese batter over Milo layer. Bake again until mini cheesecakes are golden. Mix cocoa powder with Milo and sift on top of cupcakes.
