Nutty Truffles

No baking is required in this recipe, just mix the ingredients together and add plenty of your favourite nuts for that delicious crunch in these no bake dessert recipes for truffles.


Ingredients For Outer Coating

1/2 cup 				Butter
1/2 cup				Cocoa Powder
2 cups		        	Icing Sugar
1/4 cup 				Whipping Cream
1/2 tsp	 			Vanilla Essence

Ingredients For Center Filling

1/2 cup				Hazelnuts; finely chopped
1/2 cup				Whole Almonds; toasted
1/2 cup				Macadamia Nuts; finely chopped
1/2 cup				Dessicated Coconut

Method

Mix the center filling ingredients together and set aside for later use.

Cream butter till light in large mixing bowl.

Combine icing sugar and cocoa powder. Add alternately with whipping cream and vanilla essence to creamed butter. Blend well thoroughly.

Chill until mixture is firm before rolling into small balls around center nuts filling. Coat well with coconut and crushed nuts. Rechill till firm before serving.

Makes 30 truffles.
