Easy Christmas Dessert Recipes
Orange Delight Jello, the jello dessert recipe in our Christmas dessert recipes collection that look like the actual fruit slices but are not, so they make quite interesting desserts for your Christmas parties. These easy Christmas desserts are jellos which are filled into the skins of fruits (oranges) and then when it has set, cut them up the way you would cut any fruit servings. Ingredients 20 g Jello Strips 8 Oranges 450 ml Water 100 g Rock Sugar 70 g Granulated Sugar 150 ml Fresh Orange Juice 1 tsp Orange Colouring Method Wash oranges and cut neatly into halves. Remove pulp carefully with a spoon, without damaging the skin. Wash jello strips and cut into halves. Boil strips in water until it completely dissolves. Now add granulated and rock sugar. Continue to boil until jello mixture starts to thicken. Turn off heat. Stir in orange juice. Add colouring and stir well. Pour jello into clean orange skin shells and leave to cool and set.
