Pecan Chocolate Chip Cookies

Bake these easy pecan chocolate cookies for parties. This is one of the easy drop cookie recipes which is fuss free; you can beat butter with sugar first using a blender and then mix the rest of the ingredients with a large spoon. If you want to be a bit different, you can substitute pecans with macadamia nuts, it will still taste as terrific!


Ingredients

1 cup			        	Butter; softened at room temperature
2/3 cup				Castor Sugar
3/4 cup				Brown Sugar
2 			        	Large Eggs
1 tsp			        	Vanilla Essence
1 tsp			        	Salt
1 tsp			        	Baking Powder
2 2/3 cups		        	All-Purpose Flour
2 1/2 cups   	 		Chocolate Chips
1 cup			        	Pecan Nuts; coarsely chopped

Method

Beat butter with the rest of the ingredients until well-blended. Leave aside for an hour for batter to harden. Spoon onto lined cookie sheet and bake at 190°C until cookies are done.
