Pecan Lime Cheesecake Recipe
This Pecan Lime Cheesecake recipe makes use of pecans as part of the base to add nutty flavour to complement the chocolate pie crust. This is a baked cheesecake recipe for cream cheese desserts that is sure to satisfy those who wants a nutty lime cheesecake as after dinner desserts.
Ingredients350 g Cream Cheese; softened at room temperature
3/4 cup Castor Sugar
1 tbsp Lime Juice
1/2 tsp Lemon Essence
1/4 tsp Salt
3 Medium Eggs
1/2 cup Chopped Pecans
1 Prepared Chocolate Pie Crust
Method
Beat cream cheese, castor sugar, lime juice, lemon essence and salt. Add eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition. Sprinkle chopped pecans over pie crust. Pour filling over sprinkled pecans. Bake at 170°C for 35 to 40 minutes or until cheesecake turns golden brown. Decorate with lime slices.
