Pure Amaretto Cheesecake Recipe



The Pure Amaretto Cheesecake recipe in our selection of amaretto cheesecake recipes includes the use of the sweet and fragrant almond-flavoured liqueur, Amaretto liqueur. You can imagine how these cream cheese desserts will taste like with this unique flavour combination.

As in baking recipes which include cream cheese, it is important to blend the cream cheese well until smooth so that your cheesecake will not have an uneven lumpy texture.


Ingredients For Crust

1 1/2 cups 		        	Graham Cracker Crumbs
3 tbsp 		        	Melted Butter

Ingredients For Filling
250 g Cream Cheese 400 g Ricotta Cheese 4 Eggs; lightly beaten 1/2 cup Brown Sugar 1/2 cup Amaretto Liqueur 1 tsp Vanilla Essence

Method

Mix together Graham cracker crumbs with melted butter. Press firmly over base and sides of a greased 9 inch spring- form pan. Bake at 180°C for 8 to 10 minutes.

Beat together cream cheese and ricotta cheese until smooth. Add in brown sugar. Beat well. Now add in eggs, one at a time, beating well with each addition. Lastly blend in Amaretto liqueur and vanilla essence. Pour cheese mixture onto prepared crust and bake for an hour or until the center has set. Allow to cool thoroughly before removing from pan. Chill in refrigerator before serving.
