Sultana Cookies



Scrumptious Sultana Cookies from our great dessert recipes is one of the favourite best desserts for cookies.

These are cookie recipes which you may want to bake for tea time or serve during festive ocassions such as Christmas (to add to your christmas dessert ideas) or Chinese New Year. These cookie baking recipes use sultanas and corn flakes as ingredients.


Ingredients

1 cup			        	Self-Raising Flour; sifted
1/2 cup 				Butter; melted
2/3 cup				Fine Granulated Sugar
1 			        	Large Egg; lightly beaten
1 tsp			        	Vanilla Essence 
1 1/2 cups		         	Sultanas
1 cup			        	Cornflakes; crushed

Method

Mix together sifted flour with sultanas and sugar. Add in beaten egg and vanilla essence. Mix with a wooden spoon. Drizzle in melted butter and mix well. Roll out lengthwise and cut into even portions. Press each portion lightly with a fork onto greased cookie sheet. Now press lightly crushed cornflakes onto each cookie.

Bake at 180°C for 15 minutes. Allow to cool before storing in airtight container.
